Major League - There's Nothing Wrong With Me

“Pillow Talk,” the third track on the album, talks about the difficulties in a relationship and the waiting time for changes. Instrumentally, the song is quite repetitive and expected, but lyrically it hits the feels.

 

While the majority of this album is upbeat and pop punkish, Major League slows it down with the closing track, “Rittenhouse.” The first half of the song sounds like a nice ballad with clean vocals, clean guitar, and light bass and drums. “I’d never let you go/I’d never let you walk away” leads the song into a heavier, upbeat instrumental that serves as the perfect ending to what is an overall upbeat, moving album.

 

A lot of songs on There’s Nothing Wrong With Me are extremely repetitive and sound the same. But you know what? Major League do it well, leaving the listener coming back to this album for days on end. New Jersey pop punkers Major League recently released their sophomore album, There’s Nothing Wrong With Me. This album shows an immense maturation, both instrumentally and lyrically, from their previous effort, Hard Feelings. Produced by Will Yip (Balance and Composure, Title Fight, The Wonder Years), this album is full of energy and emotion, making this LP extremely relatable.

 

The opening track “Wallflower” bursts with energy through a catchy guitar riff and drum beat that leads to a stuck-in-your-head chorus. You’ll be shouting along to “And I know it doesn’t have to be this way/But I’ve grown to the
