When I first looked up Midnight Soundtrack, I was instantly shocked that this project hailed from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Being born and raised in “The Hammer,” I'm very aware of the stereotypes of the run down “Steel City.” But there is never a shortage of talent produced in this city. Midnight Soundtrack is surrounded by the likes of Teenage Head, The Arkells, Monster Truck and many other talented bands.

 

Midnight Soundtrack is the brainchild of Marcio Novelli, who constantly brings new things to the table. Each song that he creates is an electronic rock experience. Particularly, a new song called “Inside of You” from the album Foreplay accentuates his talent. This album lays out the course of a relationship, from start to finish. “Inside of You” portrays intense emotions like fear, insecurity, and uncertainty in the possibility of a committed relationship going sour. You can feel the pain as the lyrics present the raw human emotions of loss and the musicality of the song taking you on a journey of different soundscapes that show an inevitable longing for another.
