Plug In Stereo - Self Titled

vocal harmonies, however it does not change the energy level of the singer and that is vital for a song, so it makes it very monotonous throughout the album. Imagine you're seeing Plug in Stereo live, and even though you feel positive energy, there a lively increase right before the chorus, but then it lulls back down. The momentum is lost.

 

I want to shout and scream and dance along with the chorus in songs, but I can’t. That's the only thing that I dislike this album, however it is an album that is worth the listen, because there are times you want to hear something relaxed, happy, and fun to some point.

 

My favorite songs are "Better Off Alone," and “Give It Up.” “Better Off Alone” is a very relaxed song, you can tell it was professionally done. It has catchy guitar riffs and my number one pick off the album. "Give It Up” is slower, and more romantic.I like songs like these sometimes, and it was a very close second pick. The vocals and instrumentals blend beautifully.

 

I liked “I Hope You Know.” It’s cheerful and features a female/male duet. It’s a great love song, since you have the duet, and the lyrics are dedicated to their love for one another.

 

In conclusion, this album, although sometimes monotonous and lacking in energy, is a good, easy listen and it’s full of positivity.

 

Plug In Stereo seems to be a folky country and pop indie infusion that I think gives a cheerful, charming touch that’s attractive to many people.

 

Most of his songs have a similar sound due to the fact that this album, and many in this genre, are widely played with acoustic guitar, but that does not make it equal.

The songs are very upbeat, and if you’re feeling down, they will help perk you up. This album sheds no negative light.

 

Although it has many positives, there are some songs that need more energy. You really feel the chorus of the song due to the
