Least of These Joins the Red Cord Records Roster

Heather Ronan| February 12, 2014

As any band will tell you, finding the right record label is key. Yes, you obviously need a labelthat can sell albums and promote you out the ass, but more importantly you need a label that wants to do those things. A label that supports the type of music you aim to make, that doesn’t hold you back, but instead says, “Hey, we are behind you in whatever you choose to put out.” Red Cord Records is that kind of label.

Established in 2008, Red Cord prides themselves on being like a family and growing together with their artists. They represent a wide variety of artists from a wide variety of genres all with the same vision for their music. As a mostly Christian based record label, Red Cord knew the band Least of These would fit in perfectly with their team. The aggressive indie-rock band from Denton, Texas is very Christian-orientated and their faith shows highly in their music. After the success of their last album and EP, Least of These knew they needed a label that could help them continue to grow and share their uniquely styled music with the world. After seeing Red Cord’s success with other bands such as Phinehas and Inhale Exhale, Least of These knew right away it would be a perfect fit since they draw influences from bands like As Cities Burn, Thrice, and My Epic.

I recently got a chance to listen to their latest album Change Will Come, which you can stream HERE,  and if their next album is anything like it then I know great things are in store for them. They start recording for their next album this summer and I am really excited to see what this new partnership will bring.
